Masaryk Institute of Advanced Studies (MIAS)
is a proud part of theCzech Technical University (CTU), the best technical university in the Czech Republic, and according to the QS World University Rankings, the 9th best university in Central and Eastern Europe. MIAS is seated in Prague, one of the most beautiful historical cities in the world and the capital of the Czech Republic, located in the centre of the European Union.
MIAS uses the internationally recognized European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS). Each academic year is organized in two semesters with an extended summer break. Classes are usually concentrated in three days a week, enabling students to efficiently manage their time. Seminars are taught in small groups, which enhances cooperation and communication. MIAS is located within Dejvická campus in one of the most desirable districts of Prague, with an excellent access to all campus facilities including dormitories, library, sports facilities, numerous restaurants, as well as to the historical centre or to the airport.
