Masaryk Institute of Advanced Studies (MIAS) is a part of the Czech Technical University (CTU) in Prague. CTU is the oldest Technical University in Central Europe and the oldest Public Technical University in the world. MIAS endeavours to connect engineering with business. The Institute offers study programmes delivered in Czech and English, and educates managers with highly specialized skills, good at languages and ready for Trade and Industry, including leading Tech Companies.

MIAS consists of 80 academic staff supported by visiting lecturers, supervisors and professional consultants; and more than 950 students in accredited undergraduate and graduate programmes with hundreds of participants attending professional, qualification and language courses and seminars. MIAS participates in numerous international research projects, and provides advisory services and training programs for companies, professional bodies, public agencies, as well as for other components of the CTU.
