This year’s University Preparatory Programme brought together students of different cultures from different parts of the world with the same goal – to improve their English and prepare for further study. Over the course of two semesters, a team of teachers from the language department helped the students improve their language skills in all aspects. Mathematics, Informatics and other vocational subjects were also an integral part of the classes to prepare the students for their entrance exams.

The mission was successful and all participants of the University Preparatory Programme who applied for further studies at CTU passed the entrance exams. In addition, the most diligent students successfully passed the certified language exam and received a B2 language certificate, which is accepted by universities across the Czech Republic.

The certificates of completion were handed over last week by the programme’s guarantor, Dagmar Skokanova, at an informal meeting of teachers and course participants.
