Preparations for the third edition of the International Project Workshop (IPW) are almost complete. The selection process has finished, and 12 students from MIAS will have the chance to take part in this unique project beginning in October. Among those chosen are 4 international students enrolled in English study programs who will represent MIAS alongside Czech students, adding to the project’s cultural diversity.
This year’s IPW will feature six projects in various business areas, including the future of trams, launching new products in Central Europe, improving the image of credit activities, and restructuring banking products in the Czech Republic. Cofidis, Total Energies, and Komerční banka are returning partners from previous editions, while Škoda Group, Siemens Energies, and Renault Trucks are new additions this year.
Coordinators from MIAS and the partner universities (École La Mache Lyon and Hochshule Zittau/Görlitz) are currently working on forming teams. In addition to considering the students’ focus and skills, their compatibility with each other is also being taken into account. The teams will be finalized by mid-September, with the first online meetings scheduled at that time for students to meet their teachers and receive their project assignments.
The IPW will begin in October in Prague with a joint meeting of all project participants and will continue throughout the semester until December, when the students will travel to Görlitz to present the results of their work.
We extend our gratitude to our partner companies and all our supporters and wish the students and other participants the best of luck in this year’s IPW!
