On Saturday, April 9, 2022, thirty years have passed since the official establishment of the Masaryk Institute of Advanced Studies at the Czech Technical University in Prague. This university Institute develops economics and so-called engineering pedagogy, focused on training teachers of technical disciplines. In economics, the Institute continued the interwar University of Business in Prague tradition, which operated within the Technical University from 1919 to 1949.
In thirty years, the Institute has gone through the difficult path of finding its profile and gained much experience and inspiration. The teaching of study programs at the Institute is connected with both professional and scientific activities and with practice. Quality language preparation of students and the constantly deepening internationalization of the study and creative environment remain constant. The Institute does not forget its social role and is open to the public, which participates in its professional and popular social activities or attends several lifelong learning programs.
Let us wish the Institute, the establishment of which was signed in 1992 by the then Rector of the Czech Technical University in Prague, prof. Ing. Stanislav Hanzl, CSc., to further develop in the spirit of creative and pedagogical freedom and to be able to respond to the social and technological changes and challenges of this world.
