The Week of Science and Technology is the most extensive science festival in the Czech Republic. The festival is attended by a number of leading personalities and institutions from all over the Czech Republic. MIAS will also be actively involved this year.

On Tuesday 3th November, Daniel Stach, Czech famous presenter of the program focused on the science and society (Hyde Park of the Civilization) will talk about the importance of popularization of science in contemporary society.

On Friday 6^th November, the director Prof. Vladimíra Dvořáková will talk about elections forecast analyses. It will introduce exact demographic tools, show the role of many years of experience and, on the example of the 2020 presidential election in the United States, reveal some professional secrets of political analysts.
